Jamaica’s Under 19 cricketers returned home on Friday after another unsuccessful bid in the Cricket West Indies regional 50 over and three-day tournaments.
The U19 cricketers finished fourth in the three-day competition while ending 3rd in the ODI tournament.
Captain Raewin Senior blamed the team’s poor show on failure to adjust quickly to the conditions in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Sanjay Brown, the left arm spin bowler was the pick of the young bowlers pocketing 23 wickets in the two competitions combined.
On the other hand, Carlos Brown earned bragging rights with the bat by scoring 215 runs in the 50 over format.
The last time Jamaica won the Under-19 title was in 2012.
